Glass Replacement
Broken storefronts secured and replaced cleanly. Commercial entry doors, aluminum frames, and hardware too. Insurance work supported.
Beyond the glass
What We Replace
If your storefront has been broken into, hit, or otherwise damaged — or you need new commercial glass installed during a build or renovation — you’re in the right place. Here’s what we cover, how we triage emergencies, and how to get help.
Storefront glass panels
Tempered or laminated glass, single-pane or sealed-unit storefront systems. Replaced to match the original spec — same glass type, same dimensions, same aluminum framing.
Aluminum entry doors
Commercial swing doors, pivot doors, and entry systems. We repair or replace damaged glass panels in aluminum doors, plus the door itself when the frame is too damaged to repair.
Pivots, closers, and hardware
Door closers, hinges, pivots, panic bars, locks, and pull handles. The same aluminum entry system that takes the glass damage usually has hardware impact too.
Curtainwall components
For larger commercial entries with glass and aluminum curtainwall systems, we handle component replacement and coordinate with the building’s original system specs where possible.
commercial glass insurance claims
Insurance Claims Support
Most storefront damage is covered by commercial property insurance — break-in, vandalism, vehicle impact, storm. We help with the claim work: documenting the damage with photos for the adjuster, providing quotes formatted for the insurance process, and coordinating timing with claim approval where required. If you’re calling about an active emergency, we’ll handle the immediate clean up first and sort out the insurance paperwork in parallel.
Aluminum entry door hardware
When the Glass Is Fine but the Door Won’t Close
Sometimes the glass is intact but the entry system isn’t. Closers fail, pivots wear out, locks stop functioning, panic bars stick. We handle these too — often without a full door or system replacement. Common hardware-only fixes:
- Door closer replacement. When the door slams, drifts, or won’t close at all.
- Pivot replacement. Heavy aluminum doors run on top and bottom pivots that wear out over years of use.
- Lock and panic bar replacement. Code-required hardware that has to function reliably.
- Pull handle and push bar updates. Cosmetic upgrades or replacement after damage.
Our Work
Why Local Property Managers Have Us on Speed Dial
Commercial-grade systems and supply chain
Aluminum framing from Aluminex, hardware from CRL, larger systems and curtainwall components from Oldcastle Building Envelope. Tempered and laminated glass from Hartung Glass and PFG Glass. The same supply chain feeding major commercial builds.
Emergency response process
We secure the opening, document the damage, and get the new glass on the schedule. Property managers don’t have to coordinate three separate trades.
City of Abbotsford partnership
We’re the City of Abbotsford’s primary glass provider. The kind of work that comes with that — predictable response, follow-through across multiple sites — is the kind of work the rest of our commercial roster gets too.

If your glass was damaged in a break-in, storm, or accident, we support the insurance claim — providing photos, damage documentation, and quotes formatted for the insurance process. Contact us with your insurer's information and we'll coordinate. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT — confirm billing workflow: direct billing vs. invoice-and-customer-files-claim.]
-
As fast as we can get there. If your storefront is unsecured, call us directly at (604) 705-0015 — board-up is the first priority, and we handle it before the glass replacement conversation. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT — confirm board-up hours of availability, after-hours response policy, and any callout charges.]
-
In most cases, just the glass. We replace the glass panel within your existing aluminum framing — the frame stays unless the impact damaged it too. If the framing is bent or broken, we assess what actually needs replacing and give you a straight answer on scope.
-
Usually, yes. If the glass is intact but the door doesn't close, latch, or align properly, the issue is typically hardware — a worn closer, a failed pivot, or a misaligned lock. We handle door closers, pivots, locks, and pull hardware without requiring a full door replacement.
-
Both. Tempered glass is standard for most storefront applications. Laminated glass is used where additional security or breakage containment is needed — large spans, high-risk locations, or where falling glass after impact would be a concern. We'll spec the right one for your building.
-
In most cases, yes. We work with major commercial aluminum framing systems and source glass to match existing profiles. For replacement work, we aim to match the original spec — same glass type, same dimensions, same framing. Send us photos and we'll assess the system. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT — confirm which major framing systems (Kawneer, Oldcastle, Aluminex profiles) Riverside can match.]
-
Yes. We work with property managers across the Fraser Valley on both reactive work — broken windows, emergency board-ups — and planned maintenance. If you manage multiple properties, reach out to discuss how we can make the process consistent across your portfolio.
-
Common storefront glass sizes can often be sourced and installed quickly. Custom sizes, specialty systems, or curtainwall components take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the quote stage and keep you updated if anything changes. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT — confirm realistic turnaround ranges for standard vs. custom storefront glass.]
