Frequently Asked
Questions

  1. Yes. If your window was broken in a break-in, storm, or accident, we can help with the claim — providing photos, dimensions, and documentation for your insurer. Most homeowner policies cover glass replacement. Reach out and we'll confirm the workflow for your situation. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT — confirm whether Riverside bills insurance directly or invoices the customer who files the claim.]

  2. You don't need to have it figured out. Send us a photo and a description of what you're dealing with and we'll help you scope the right job. Most people know something needs to be fixed or replaced — we handle the rest from there.

  3. We replace the glass within your existing frame — the frame stays in place. We're a glass shop, not a window company, so if your frame is rotten or you're upgrading to new construction windows, you'll need a window installer instead. If you're not sure which side of that line your project falls on, send us a photo and we'll tell you straight.

  4. Yes. Quotes are free, and we don't charge for the back-and-forth that goes with figuring out scope.

  5. We do our best to respond as quickly as possible for urgent commercial glass repairs, especially when safety or security is a concern. If the glass cannot be replaced right away, we can often provide a temporary board-up to secure the space until the replacement glass is ready.

  6. Most shower glass installations can be completed in a few hours once the glass has been measured, ordered, and fabricated. The full timeline depends on the style of shower, hardware, and glass availability, but we’ll walk you through the expected schedule before work begins.
